The mission of Lions Clubs International is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace, and promote international understanding through Lions clubs. The Huntley Project Lions & Lioness Club carries out the mission locally by sponsoring many local programs and events, such as putting on the Homesteader Days, maintaining Homesteader Hall and Park, putting on the local Easter Egg Hunt, purchasing eyeglasses for students, sponsoring local baseball teams and offering scholarships for local students. In 1964, the Huntley Project Lions Club organized the first Homesteader Days. The two-day celebration is held each year on the second weekend in July as a memorial to homesteaders who settled the area. The event honors a hardy breed of pioneer who came on foot, by covered wagon, or by immigrant train to carve out a fertile valley in a land of sagebrush and greasewood.

The 62nd Annual Homesteader Days event will kick off the evening of July 10th, 2026 with the Outdoor Concert event featuring Darryl Worley, Chancey Williams and Exit 53. Gates open at 4:30 pm. Chancey Williams opens at 6:30 pm, followed by Darryl Worley at 8:00 pm. Exit 53 will come back on stage for their After Party and will entertain the crowd until 1:00 am. The Beer Garden is open from 5:00 pm – 12:30 am.

Join them for a 62nd anniversary celebration you won't want to miss! The concert will be held in the beautiful, 7-acre Homesteader Park located at 760 Railroad Highway, Huntley, MT. Homesteader Park is 17 miles east of downtown Billings. There will be lots of room, plenty of shade trees, and a park full of nice folks and great music.

• 5:00pm: Food, beer, and other drinks available on grounds
• 6:30pm: Chancey Williams
• 8:00pm: Darryl Worley
• 10:00pm: Exit 53 (After-Party)
• Beer garden open until 12:30am
• No coolers please!
• NO re-entry!
