Seize the Deal

At Kennebec Valley YMCA, their mission is to provide an inspirational environment for the enrichment of all people through social, recreational and learning activities. They offer a fitness center, gym, dance studio and so much more. It is a place where you can share quality time with your friends and family while making new friends and pursuing a healthy lifestyle. Children learn, grow and thrive in their learning center, and gain new skills through youth programs. Teens learn how to be great leaders and role models. 

This certificate is redeemable for a One Year Youth Membership at the Kennebec Valley YMCA. Membership is open to children and teenagers (ages 0-18 years) and subject to the following policies and freedoms by age group:

Ages 14 and Up

• May participate in Open Gym without adult supervision.
• May use both the Family Fun Pool and Competition Pool without adult supervision. Lifeguards may administer a swim test at any time if they feel it is necessary.
• May participate in Group Exercise classes without adult supervision.
• May use equipment on their own only after the completion of a fitness orientation from a YMCA staff member.
• May reserve and use the racquetball court and Sauna.

• Youth ages 12 and under may participate in Open Gym with adult supervision. Youth ages 13 and up may participate in Open Gym without adult supervision.
• May use both the Family Fun Pool and Competition Pool without adult supervision. Lifeguards may administer a swim test at any time if they feel it is necessary.
• May participate in group exercise classes when accompanied by an adult.
• Youth 10 and under are not allowed in the Fitness Center. Youth ages 11-13 may only use the Cardio Equipment in the Fitness Center under parental supervision.
• May not use the racquetball court or Sauna.

• Are only allowed in the YMCA when accompanied by a parent, guardian, or another adult 18 years of age or older, or when enrolled in a YMCA structured Youth Program.
• Must be within arms reach of an adult in the water. Non-swimmers must stay in the shallow end; a swim test is required for use of the deep end. Lifeguards may administer a swim test at any time if they feel it is necessary.
• May not participate in Group Exercise classes.
• May not be in the Fitness Center.
• May not use the racquetball court or Sauna.

No cash value; no cash/credit back. Valid for (1) youth aged 0-18yrs. Valid for new members only and can not be applied to an existing membership. Membership valid at the Augusta location only.
