On January 17, 1920, the Volstead Act took effect across America banning the sale and consumption of alcohol. For the next 13 years Americans were forced to conceal, bootleg, and otherwise break federal law to consume their favorite libations. Thankfully, on December 5th, 1933 the 21st Amendment to the Constitution was ratified and the citizens of this great country were once again able to enjoy alcoholic beverages legally. At Amendment XXI, they pay tribute to the legacy of Prohibition-era America by featuring hand-crafted cocktails, ice-cold microbrews, and elevated pub fare in a lively atmosphere. They aim to partner with local purveyors in an effort to feature fresh, local food and beverages for customers.
