Kay Morris is a local painter who has been painting, studying, teaching and exhibiting art since relocating to Maine in the 1990s. She generally paints in watercolor and is particularly intrigued by the play of light and shadow, color, shapes and linear aspects of her subjects. A largely visual person, Morris enjoys observing the world around her, searching for the amazing range of values and colors presented, as is evident in this framed watercolor print.
