SD Outdoor Power is a division of Stiefvater Distributors Inc., a company founded in 1960 to provide repair parts to dealers of outdoor power equipment in the northeast. They took to retail in 2004 and Snapper mowers and snowblowers was the first power equipment line they took on, followed by Shindaiwa trimmers and chainsaws shortly thereafter.  Over the years since then, they have added Dolmar chainsaws, Kawasaki trimmers, and Toro consumer products such as zero turn mowers, handmowers, and snowblowers.  SD Outdoor Equipment has also added many accessory lines associacted with lawn and garden equipment.  A large stock of parts, which was the backbone of the business for so many years, has been maintained and their repair shop has been expanded so we can provide better service to our customers.
