Chalet Sports is a locally owned and operated business in downtown Bozeman. The store opened in Montana in 1953 by August “Gus” Gnehm from Switzerland who originally came to the US in 1939 to represent his country at the world’s fair in New York. Located at the corner of Main and Willson, Chalet Sports expanded and carries a wide variety of alpine ski equipment and apparel. In the summer, Chalet carries both road and mountain bikes, footwear and a variety of apparel to enjoy the outdoors. Product lines are chosen to suit the needs of the entire family for all seasons. Chalet Sport is proud of being a locally owned and operated store serving the Bozeman community for many years.
